A divine reading experience!
The book Renuka - ek parikrama is a timeless journey into the realms of ancient civilization of India. While it's primarily a fictional account of the life of princess Renuka; parallely, it also gives a fascinating insight into the wealth of ancient knowledge and scientific aspects of vedic rituals and practises. Narration is gripping and the story is brilliantly told. While reading, a reader would forget that this is a fiction and would feel that this is exactly how things would have unfolded millennia ago. Author's Renuka would appeal to readers as a fearless, righteous, loving caricature of feminine might. Reading the book in Marathi was a bonus for me as I have always heard about the legend of Renuka from my grandparebts. It was a beautiful trip down the memory lane. This is a book that will surely infuse pride and positivity in a reader. Not to be missed!
