Born in the year 1958 at Bankura town, West Bengal. His passion to literature has flown from school-days, but reality says otherwise. He had to read science in School and Commerce in College. In latter part, he had to take banking job.
At the fag end of service life, literature starts again. His favourite poet is Jibanananda and litterateur Bibhutibhushan. His service life was village centric and so naturally have his poems taken components from nature. In recent past a few poems of his have come to light in some little-known magazines. This confidence leads him to gather all his selected poems in a single book and so is born "Vinna Sader Kabita" ( poetry of different taste).
