When it rains in the sky, it is not just sound that descends — it is memory, it is a lazy wetness, love, separation, regret — it is a ceaseless stream flowing from the mind. Following that stream comes this collection “Shravandhara”, where 28 poets have come together in the vibrant tapestry of monsoon emotions.

We do not wish to label Shravandhara merely as a “collection of poems.” It is a rough sketch of inner weather, where words become echoes of rain. Some have written in the pure drench of first love, others in the letters of waiting that settle at the rim of a teacup on a lonely verandah — a weather-based nostalgia, where words turn to water and imagination becomes an umbrella. Here, the reader will find themselves, perhaps within a single familiar drop of rain.

(আকাশে যখন বৃষ্টি নামে, তখন শব্দ নয় — নামে স্মৃতি, নামে ভেজা অলসতা, প্রেম, বিচ্ছেদ, অনুতাপ — নামে এক অনন্ত মনের জলধারা। সেই ধারা ধরে এই সংকলন ‘শ্রাবণধারা’, যেখানে ২৮ জন কবি একত্র হয়েছেন শ্রাবণী অনুভবের আলপনায়।
