Dr. Satish Patel is been working as a computer faculty since 1997 in Computer centre of rural management department, Gujarat Vidyapith, Randheja. Gujarat vidyapith which was established by Mahatma Gandhi in 1920. He was born on 3rd September in Bayal village in modasa taluka of aravali district. Taking primary education in village he has done B.Sc. (electronics) from Gujarat University, M.sc (electronics) from Saurastra University, PGDCA from Gujarat Vidyapith, M.sc (computer) from Rajasthan Vidyapith and M. Phil on Ethernet Network Technology from Gujarat Vidyapith and Ph.D. In "Role and effectiveness of ICT in Rural development management". He is interested in Sustainable rural development and information communication technology. He is interested in Rural development, data communications, computer networks, and Internet technology, ICT infrastructure development and management, MIS, e-commerce, e-governance and ICT Sector development are his major operations in the field of research. He has also worked on various projects by Gujarat and Indian Government. He has also taken part in training program and submitted the research articles in various regional and national seminars. He has also introduced research article on various subjects taking part in training program in Regional and national seminars .He has many articles published in hindi, Gujarati and English language. he is more Interested in books related to computer and Monograph in subject. He is connected with department`s students and education activities. His special interest is to fascinate Rural and social development activities. His book named "Ethernet Network Technology” was also published previously.
