Aakanksha Rathaur was born and brought up in Bangalore, she began her schooling from ‘Bishop Cottons Girls High School, Bangalore’ she then graduated in Communicative English and Psychology from ‘Jyoti Nivas College, Bangalore’ and later went on to pursue her Post Baccalaureate from ‘University of California, Berkeley’ She is presently pursuing her Masters from Mysore University. Aakanksha has also actively been working for California based NGO ‘Project Jathropa’ since 2007.
Inspired by her father Col Kunwar Jaideep Singh SC* SM and married to an army officer Maj Shoryaveer Sinh Rathaur, she is currently working on her second book which is an amalgamation of stories based on real life experiences of Indian war heroes and their families.
