By Abhik Bhanu
When Tanishka—fondly called Titli—returns to her family in Delhi just
three months after her marriage in Mumbai, she leaves everyone baffled.
Without offering any explanation, she slips back into her old life, meeting
college and school friends, while her husband, Vikki Pedia, remains
alone in Mumbai.
The Agarwal family, confused and concerned, sends one emissary after
another to uncover the truth. Their trusted aide, Shah Alam, comes back
with a handsome business proposal and words of praise for Vikki. Titli’s
brother Babloo returns with nothing more than a guitar, assuring the
family that all is well. Even her father, uncle, and elder brother bring
home only a meditation music player after visiting Vikki. Yet none of
them has an answer to the real question—why has Titli come back?
At last, the family patriarch takes matters into his own hands. He travels
to Mumbai, brings Vikki to Delhi, and demands the truth.
