Description

HONCHO - A novel that makes you laugh—then makes you think.

A funny drama with razor-sharp social satire. A bold critique of war as a business model. A story where cinema becomes a weapon of peace. Honcho is a rare blend of humour, humanity, romance, and rebellion.
Arjun Dev, a fearless and unconventional filmmaker, escapes a deadly terrorist trap using intelligence, wit, and compassion—exposing a brutal truth: wars are not fought for nations, but to clear the rotting inventories of global arms manufacturers. Weapons are not made to sleep. They are made to be used.
When there are no enemies, enemies are invented. When there is no conflict, conflict is manufactured. Set in a world where humour collides with the harshest realities of global politics, Honcho is a satirical yet deeply human novel that explores films , screenwriter’s passions, war, and the arms industry—through laughter, irony, and unexpected compassion. Shweta, Arjun Dev’s partner, is his emotional compass. Their playful banter, shared humour, and quiet resilience offer moments of intimacy and light—proof that love can remain steady even in the shadow of death. In Honcho, laughter becomes resistance, love becomes courage, and storytelling itself turns into an act of rebellion against a world that profits from war.
