In this book, there are short narratives, some poems. My many years of wanderings, travels, things seen, scenes, people, living in different parts of this country, in different societies, their food, language, some years spent in America, Texas, in those forests, and with those Deers, and Rabbits and big huge Trees, in Florida drifting around those Seas, whatever has come out of all these experiences is all there in this Book. Some things associated with my Childhood, my village Bairipur, a large poem related to my village is also part of this collection.Alongside, there are little tributes to my favourite writers like Vinod kumar Shukla, Udayan Vajpeyi, Agyeya, like Muktibodh, Borges, Kafka .

Hope that when you are in the night, when you are tired and sitting quietly in your study, listening to some musical piece by Shubert, or a classical piece by Dzovak or Raag Durga by Hari prasad Chaurasia, or Des raag you are listening, then do turn a page from this book. ( इस किताब में छोटे छोटे narratives हैं कुछ कवितायेँ हैं। मेरी कई सालों की घुमक्कड़ी, यात्राएँ, देखी हुई चीज़ें, दृश्य, लोग, इस देश के अलग अलग जगहों पे रहना, अलग अलग समाजों में, उनका खानपान, भाषा, कुछ साल अमरीका में टेक्सस में उन जंगलों और हिरणों और खरगोशों और बड़े बड़े विशालकाय वृक्षों के बीच रहने के, फ्लोरिडा में समुन्द्रों के आसपास भटकने के अनुभवों से जो कुछ भी निकल पाया है सब कुछ इस किताब में मौजूद है। कुछ मेरे बचपन से जुड़ी हुई बातें भी हैं मेरा गाँव बैरीपुर, उससे जुड़ी एक लम्बी कविता भी है। साथ मेरे प्रिय लेखकों को भी छोटा छोटा tribute है जैसे विनोद कुमार शुक्ल, उदयन वाजपेयी, जैसे अज्ञेय, जैसे मुक्तिबोध, जैसे बोर्ख़ेस, जैसे काफ़्का।
