“James, come home soon;
I can’t go on much longer without you.”
Bella can’t remember how long she’s been waiting for James.
With him home, Bella lives and loves abundantly.
Without him, she’s lost- like a ship adrift.
Only James truly sees, knows, and loves Bella - not for what she does, but for who she is.
And so, she waits for him to return from his voyage, enduring much, until she can handle it no more. If Bella doesn’t act now, she risks losing the life they built together.
And if she’s gone, how will James live without her?
To regain the love she lost, Bella must let go of the gifts she once received with joy.
Now, they are just burdens that weigh her down.
If she breaks free from the past and its obligations, Bella can advance towards her future with hope.
Bella’s on a mission to find true love again!
But will she find her James before she loses herself?
It’s now or never, because Bella can’t wait anymore!
Superb story of Love & Hope
It's wonderful to stumble upon a book that completely draws you in, makes you fall in love with its characters, and leaves you eager to see what the next chapter brings? Adelle Pereira’s The Unseen Gift does exactly that.
The story’s heroine, Mrs Bella Rosa, takes you gently through her emotions, fears, and hopes with remarkable grace and dignity. Admittedly, the beginning moves at a slower pace, but once the story unfolds, I found myself completely immersed in Bella Rosa’s world. Pereira beautifully captures the struggles of an ageing parent who has poured her life into her children, yet still holds on to the hope of love. The characters of Rosareen and Pushpa, so different in background yet united in goodness highlight the beauty of compassion and kindness. Through Ella’s tender love for her grandmother, the story blossoms into a moving tale of faith, hope, and unconditional love. It made me smile, shed a tear, and believe once again in the goodness of a human heart. Don't miss it!
