Previously, he worked as a Library Assistant at GMC Srinagar and SKUAST Kashmir. His primary interests include library automation, web designing, and database management. He has developed an in-house library management system, a web-enabled WebOPAC, and a library visitor entry system.
Aijaz Ahmad Bhat is also a self-published author and has written several books, including Islamic Communication System, Bibliometric Study of Select Open Access Journals, and Digital and Technological Solutions.
