An engineer by profession and poet by heart, Amandeep Singh also writes Science Fiction and Children’s Literature in Punjabi. He has published a pioneering book of Science Fiction short stories titled TutdayTarian di Dastaan (1989) - a new concept in the Punjabi Literature at that time. He has also published his collection of poems titled Kankar Pathar (2016) and ‘Tim Tim Chamke Nikka Tara (2020)’ Children’s Poems. His poems are about love, peace and light, sorrows, separation and everlasting memories. He draws his inspiration from Gurbani and Sufi Poetry. ਪੇਸ਼ੇ ਤੋਂ ਇੰਜਨੀਅਰ ਅਤੇ ਦਿਲ ਤੋਂ ਕਵੀ – ਅਮਨਦੀਪ ਸਿੰਘ ਵਿਗਿਆਨ ਗਲਪ ਦੀਆਂ ਕਹਾਣੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਲੇਖ ਵੀ ਲਿਖਦਾ ਹੈ। ਬਾਲ-ਸਾਹਿਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਰੁਚੀ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਕਹਾਣੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਕਿਤਾਬ 'ਟੁੱਟਦੇ ਤਾਰਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਦਾਸਤਾਨ (ਲੋਕ ਸਾਹਿਤ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ਨ, 1989)' ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ਿਤ, ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਗਿਆਨ ਗਲਪ (Science Fiction) ਦੀ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਕਿਤਾਬ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਇੱਕ ਕਵਿਤਾਵਾਂ ਦੀ ਕਿਤਾਬ ‘ਕੰਕਰ ਪੱਥਰ (2016)’ ਤੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਲਈ ਕਵਿਤਾਵਾਂ ਦੀ ਕਿਤਾਬ ‘ਟਿਮ ਟਿਮ ਚਮਕੇ ਤਾਰਾ (2020)’ ਵੀ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਪਾਠਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਝੋਲ਼ੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਰਪਣ ਕਰ ਚੁੱਕਿਆ ਹੈ। ‘ਭਵਿੱਖ ਦੀ ਪੈੜ (ਸਿੰਘ ਬ੍ਰਦਰਜ਼, 2003)’ ਵਿਗਿਆਨ ਗਲਪ ਕਹਾਣੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਸੰਗ੍ਰਹਿ ਵਿੱਚ ਡਾ. ਡੀ.ਪੀ. ਸਿੰਘ ਲਿਖਦੇ ਹਨ –‘ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਗਿਆਨ-ਗਲਪ ਕਹਾਣੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਕਿਤਾਬ ਟੁੱਟਦੇ ਤਾਰਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਦਾਸਤਾਨ, ਅਮਨਦੀਪ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੌਰਾ ਵਲ੍ਹੋਂ ਰਚਿਤ, ਸੰਨ 1989 ਵਿੱਚ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਆਈ।’ ਉਹ ਸ਼ਹੀਦ ਭਗਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਨਗਰ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹੇ ਦੇ ਪਿੰਡ ਨੌਰਾ ਤੋਂ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਅੱਜ-ਕੱਲ੍ਹ ਅਮਰੀਕਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ।
