This book is a compilation of sketches and paintings, based on travel and daily lives of five different artists living in Switzerland: Andrew Nicoll, Brindarica Bose, Giuseppe Pichierri, Karin Schmidhauser, and Ruth Weljatschek. This book has a potpourri of pencil and pen sketches, as well as watercolor and acrylic paintings. Some are urban sketches and few others are based on photos taken by the artists, during their travels abroad and in Switzerland. Sketches are from the past, as well as from the current Covid-19 lockdown in 2020. In this book, you shall discover various styles. With a pencil and paper, you can easily create an everlasting memory, and this book inspires you to create your own sketching diary. More than the skill, when and where you do the sketch matters the most. You shall also see in this book, that despite coming from different professional backgrounds, these five artists took up art with complete dedication and kept experimenting outdoors as well as indoors, and are enjoying enormously their creative journey. In their short interviews, these five artists also share their insights and views about art and their sketching practices.
