Some of Andy Shivaram’s earliest memories are of playing cricket in between cars rushing past on the streets of a mediocre part of Mumbai, enjoying kite fights, aiming rockets and fire-crackers at each other during Diwali and colouring everybody silly during Holi. Through a series of lucky circumstances, guidance and hard effort his childhood took him through a glorious journey through some great schools in India, USA and England landing eventually at age 19 at Trinity College, Cambridge University where he got his degree qualifications. He subsequently spent his career with Royal Dutch Shell in the Netherlands and the UK followed by Honeywell in the UK.
He married Monjee and had three children Sanjay, Rahul and Priya.
Like many, he stumbled through his adult life. He did some things well and some things not so well and thinks he has learnt from his mistakes. He is now trying to put it all into practice and wrote this book to offer his lessons free for all in a holistic concise format that could provide a practical guide to everyone. He wished he had such a guide to help him through his life.
