About the Author

I, Anusha Subramanian am a teacher. Every day, I learn along with my students. I see how children grow when they are treated with kindness and respect. I also see how fear can stop them from trying again.
I wrote the THOPPUKARNAM series to help children learn values in a gentle way. Making mistakes is normal. What matters is learning from them, correcting them, and becoming better.
I hope these stories help children become responsible, caring, and confident — Standing tall, not bending in fear.
