A ‘Beel’ in Assamese means a Swamp and ‘Crimson’ refers to the color of Blood. ‘Crimson Beel’ is a story inspired by the folklore of a slimy, devious, and ghoulish entity, which dwelled in the Swamps of rural Assam. Known to the Assamese folks as Baak; this entity was infamous for deceivingly abducting and subsequently drowning its victims.
Come join the journey of four friends- Sid, Tanu, Bicky, and Ananya on their returning road trip, who then through bad decisions and a wrong turn, end up at the doorsteps of the aforementioned folklore legend.
