Description
This poetry book is a mirror to my dangling soul and thus, when you read, it helps you breathe perfectly with your shrine on and also helps you to smell the earth at burial. All the poems and epigrams run in deep contagion and guide you to see your hollow-self inside you. The vivid description of each poem is sublime in itself as it brings you to the floor of your bottomless life. My draining soul, through epigrams, saves itself on the rope of emotions, loneliness and death. The colors of love and remorse pays homage to this anthology as well. Nevertheless, this book kneads you into a consciously literate figure in order to understand the reality of affection, romanticism, belief and life in death methodology.
Arvin Yonzon, an avid reader, writer and observer comes from the mystical hills of Darjeeling. He was born in Sepoy Dhura, Kurseong, in the state
of West Bengal. This wordsmith has always been an incessantly bright
student since his childhood. He acquired his elementary education from
Banglore where he studied till class eight. Thereafter, he completed his
secondary and higher education from Daisies School and Pusparani Memorial HS School respectively and graduated from Kurseong College, Kurseong. Currently, this bohemian is pursuing his Masters in English at St. Joseph’s College, Darjeeling.
As a bibliophile, his proclivity to literature is vividly reflective in his literary
composition which demands certain subtle unpacking by the readers. His
fascination of being a writer, poet and a progressive thinker inspired by
Francis Bacon, William Blake, S.T. Coleridge and Tennyson’s works, whose
echoes can be heard and observed soundly resonated in the poetic creation of his work. His predilection for acquiring answers for thinking creates a space for him to talk and ponder vehemently about aesthetics, optimism, women empowerment, climate change and philosophy.
Arvin’s Atheism is his debut collection of poems that explores and engages with themes as varies as love and loss that runs through intricate
individual philosophy that he harbours as his agency to orient his friction.
This collection of poetry is his fresh venture into the vast realm of literature and his urge to become a poet.
Arvin lives with his mother, father and younger brother commuting between Kurseong abd Darjeeling, engaging in an active synergy of observing and writing.
