The Poetic Guy in Me" is not merely a book it is a mirror of my inner world. I have always believed that poetry is more than words arranged with rhythm; it is philosophy in motion, a way of asking questions about existence when answers remain elusive. In these pages, I explore not only my emotions but the deeper currents beneath them: the meaning of longing, the paradox of betrayal, the fragile beauty of hope.
I write because silence is heavy, and words are the wings that lift it. Yet I also write because I believe, as the philosophers did, that the examined life is the only life worth living. Poetry is my examination. Each verse is a dialogue with myself, each reflection a conversation with the universe. Where others see heartbreak, I see a lesson in impermanence. Where others see disappointment, I see the reminder that expectations are illusions we must learn to release.
The poetic guy in me is not only a dreamer but a seeker. He asks: What is love, if not the willingness to be vulnerable? What is trust, if not the courage to risk betrayal? What is revival, if not the recognition that endings are beginnings in disguise? These questions are not answered in neat conclusions they are lived, felt, and carried forward in the rhythm of words.
Philosophy teaches us that truth is often hidden in paradox. Poetry allows me to live inside those paradoxes without needing to resolve them. I can hold joy and sorrow together, I can honor betrayal while still believing in love, I can acknowledge the colourless moments of existence while painting them with metaphor. In this way, poetry becomes a practice of wisdom, a way of living deliberately, of refusing to let life pass unexamined.
This book is my offering: a blend of personal confession and philosophical meditation. It is my attempt to show that the poetic guy in me is also the philosophical guy in me the one who believes that words can illuminate the shadows of existence, that reflection can transform pain into meaning, and that beauty is not found in perfection but in the courage to keep searching.
So I invite you to walk with me through these pages. Not to find answers, but to share in the questions. Not to escape reality, but to see it more clearly. And perhaps, in the rhythm of my words, you will discover the poetic guy or girl in you, waiting to speak, waiting to be heard.
