My journey toward spirituality and life coaching began not as a sudden awakening but as a path shaped by two key inflexion points in life.
The first moment of realisation came when I was 16. A Christian brother visited my school to guide us on spirituality, addressing the many questions that naturally arise in young minds. His words deeply moved me, and I felt an urge to dedicate my life to spreading goodness, perhaps even by becoming a nun. However, my parents, in their wisdom, helped me see a broader perspective. They told me, “You don’t need to renounce the world to spread happiness. Experience life first. Understand its struggles, desires, and temptations. Only then will you truly be able to guide others.” Their words stayed with me, and I embraced the journey ahead, completing my education, getting married, raising a son, and building a career as a senior leader in advertising, media planning and brand strategy.
The second turning point came in April 2022 during my son’s thread ceremony at Parmarth Niketan in Rishikesh. As we sat under a tree discussing the wisdom we had just heard in a satsang, Swami Sevananda Saraswati, an American who had once worked in a profession like mine, approached us. We connected instantly, spending hours discussing purpose, responsibility, and impact. His words resonated deeply: “If you can’t leave an industry that thrives on tempting people with indulgences, at least choose the right causes. Work on what aligns with your conscience. And beyond that, find a way to truly help people balance their lives.”
His message lingered in my heart. It took me two years to internalise it fully, but eventually, I knew it was time. My husband, Kaushik, and son, Soham, helped me take the big leap with their constant words of encouragement. I took a break from my career in advertising and media planning to follow my true calling—helping people find peace, happiness, and balance in their lives. I found Soul Compass, designed to guide people toward inner rewiring, helping them navigate real-world challenges with clarity and contentment.
Soul Compass is not just a program—it is a reflection of my journey, shaped by lived experiences, deep introspection, and the wisdom of ancient spiritual traditions. It weaves together the lessons I have gathered from navigating the highs and lows of life, the insights gained from years of leadership, and the timeless teachings of Vedic and meditative practices.
From media and communications strategy to soul strategy, my mission is to touch lives at scale, bringing more peace and happiness into our world.
