Description

The story of an old, retired pensioner is leading a quiet life with his wife at the edge of a large slum called Nehrunagar. He refuses a donation and all hell breaks loose. He is face to face with the local don who is the MLA from Nehrunagar for the past twenty years.

About the Author

Atul Sharma is a B.E.(Honors), Civil Engineering, from BITS, Pilani, and M.A.(English) from the University of Madras. He teaches business communication and life skills to students. His interest in theatre dates back to his school days. He has written, directed and acted in plays. He has also taught theatre art at BITS. He also writes poetry in Hindi and English.

Kudos!

Kudos friend for writing an english play! This looks like an interesting Indian story that will be easy to stage. We are starved of Indian plays in English so this play has Miles To Go!
