Ananda, an ex-army Major, Danish, his disgraced and disbarred doctor brother and mystery writer, Anjoli Dasgupta aka Delnaaz Daroga are standing on Monkey Hill, hoping to catch the sight of some rare birds. Down below, Ananda’s unstable manservant Razzak is trying to skip bullets on a lake. This is a task Razzak had failed at earlier, resulting in a loss of face and a prestigious wager for Ananda, the man Razzak is blindly devoted to.

Still smouldering from the loss of the bet, Razzak fires one more shot. This time, the bullet skips miraculously on the water and jumps out of the lake into the forest. Just then, two cars who seem to have taken a wrong turn enter the estate and the bullet, in a weird coincidence, causes a ghastly accident. Ananda and Danish hurry to the scene of the crash to find themselves confronted by a cop, Derek Rego, who immediately senses that there was more to the mishap.

Thus begins a cat and mouse game between the five principal players with the group hoping to recover the bullet, while the relentless Rego refuses to cut them any slack by leaving the site. From hereon, every iteration of the story adds colour to an already convoluted narrative as masks fall, long buried secrets emerge and hidden agendas are revealed in a twisted climax
