She holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Yoga from Krishnamacharya Yoga Mandiram (KYM), and has completed advanced and specialized training including the Teacher and Evaluator Course from the Ministry of AYUSH, and additional courses from Vivekananda Yoga School and Pratish Yoga. She is also certified in pre- and post-natal yoga, reflecting her deep commitment to inclusive and therapeutic yoga teaching.

Banumathi’s journey in yoga is rooted in a passion for holistic healing. She has helped countless students reclaim wellness, particularly individuals suffering from back pain, sciatica, and chronic discomfort, through gentle, structured, and mindful yoga practices.
