What is interesting of this collection is, the subject matter varies from poem to poem; the themes range from the individual to the universal, from provincial to global, from economics to taxonomy. The tone also oscillates between something as delicate as the first spell of rain on the sun scorched earth, as fragile as the moment of departure of a dear one, to something as definitive as having a goal, as certain as the moment of arrival at a particular stoppage, as masculine as the resolve of a warrior. To sum it up, his poetry provides the reader with a collage of themes, brought together with an effortless lucidity and humility.
