Since the concept of Bioavailability has been introduced, Significant
progress has been made in understand the improving oral delivery
of drug, yet we also find that the new method for improvement of
bioavailability. Oral route has been the major route of drug delivery
for the chronic treatment of human diseases. However, in drug
discovery, about 40% of the new drug candidates display low
solubility in stomach, and also low permeability. This leads to poor
bioavailability. The BCS Class IV drug often demonstrates poor
gastrointestinal absorption due to inadequate drug solubility,
Permeability in GI fluids. The present Guideline book provides a new
technique for improving the bioavailability by combining the two
techniques. liquisolid compacts and floating drug delivery system
called floating liquisolid compacts. The work remains well written
and well documented but it never been able to come across general
professionals. So to launch the students and faculty hardwork on
popper platform the helping hands of pharmamedix publisher come
forward. The real intention for writing this book was intended to
help pharmaceutical graduates and post graduates for practical and
theoretical skill in pharmaceutics. This will give upcoming
pharmaceutical students to work on such areas related improving
bioavailability techniques. This book might be the micro level
initiative to provide ideas on pharmaceutics but it’s a beginning for
long journey. Despite our sincere efforts to avoid any printing errors
might have crept inadvertently.
