In a world full of noise and constant activity, every child needs a moment of calm.
Calm Time for Little Ones offers a gentle introduction to mindfulness for children aged 3 to 6, helping them build emotional balance, focus, and kindness through fun, engaging practices.
Rooted in the latest research on child development, this book provides parents, teachers, and caregivers with practical, science-based tools to support children’s emotional growth and mental well-being. Each activity is designed to help little ones connect with their breath, calm their minds, and express their feelings with confidence.
Inside this book, you will discover:
• Simple mindfulness practices: Easy breathing exercises such as Balloon Breath and Lion’s Roar that make calmness fun and natural.
• Emotional awareness activities: Stories and guided meditations to help children recognize, name, and manage big feelings.
• Practical classroom and home ideas: Step-by-step guidance for creating a peaceful “Calm Corner” anywhere.
• Playful learning: Games and movement-based activities that integrate mindfulness into everyday routines.
“When adults nurture peace and kindness within themselves, children naturally reflect it in their hearts and actions.”
Begin this mindful journey today and give your child the gift of calm, confidence, and joy — one peaceful moment at a time.
Biju Sreedhar, born in Wayanad, Kerala—often called God's Own Country in India—works as a Wisdom Catalyst, author, and guide for transformation. Rooted in India's rich spiritual heritage, he synthesizes ancient Yogic knowledge with practical insights relevant to the contemporary world.
Biju’s journey, which includes a Master's in Political Science and an M.Sc. in Yogic Science, has seen him take on many roles, including teacher, executive, and managing director. However, in 2015, he turned inward, beginning a profound inquiry into existence. The insights he uncovered are now collectively called 'Great Secrets.' These insights explain the principles of consciousness, inner peace, and the hidden human potential, entirely free from orthodox beliefs.
In 2019, during the COVID-19 pandemic, Biju began sharing these insights through platforms like Google Meet, which blossomed into an active online community known as the 'GS Family.' This collective thrives on daily meditation, the sharing of knowledge, and mutual support.
As a Yoga instructor, meditation trainer, and life coach, Biju has taught thousands of people how to face life's challenges with clarity and resilience. He serves as the Founding District President of Yogasana Wayanad (under World Yogasana and Yogasana Bharat) and was the Charter President of the Rotary Club, 'Rotary Pepper Town Pulpally.' He remains actively involved in social service initiatives with the Rotary movement.
Biju Sreedhar's mission is simple: "Inner peace is the seed of global change." Through his workshops and writings, he redefines spirituality for the 21st century, demonstrating that ordinary lives can undergo extraordinary transformation through stillness, conscious breathing, and self-awareness.
Biju’s voice is not that of a lecturer, but of a fellow traveler—one who dares to ask, listen, and live the answers. His purpose is not to add more beliefs, but to gently dissolve the barriers standing between us and the Truth.
In a world filled with noise and external searching, Biju offers a radical, yet simple, transformation: a return to the Self through stillness. His mission is not to complicate spiritual life, but to awaken the sacred that is already within.
