Description

A teenage girl ran away from home. Her car met with an accident. The car fell into the river. The car was located. The occupants of the car remained untraceable. Everyone believed that the girl was dead, except for her father. Even after two years of the incident, he maintained that his daughter was alive, till the corpse was found. This led to a hallucination situation resulting in psychotic depression requiring hospitalisation. A young Psychiatrist during the process of the treatment, developed a friendly relationship with the patient. This helped him acquire pieces of unknown information, which could help faster recovery of the patient from his health issues. The Doctor came across a book with a story, which had many ways like the information the Doctor could extract from the patient. This gave hope of tracing the missing girl and reuniting with her father. The Doctor embarked on a mission which was not from the area of his profession. Will he be successful in tracing the missing girl, if she is alive and is found to be his patient’s daughter then who is the Mastermind behind her escape and why?

About the Author

Binod Sinha: My first book was a collection of stories. This is my second book which is a novel.
I write books as one of my hobbies amongst many other activities, such as Paintings and Philately This allows me to express myself in the Indian society and culture in which I have grown.
My inspiration to write undoubtedly comes from my most admired writers, such as Harold Robbins, Nicholas Sparks, Johan Grisham, Sebastian Fitzek, Jeffrey Archer, and Erich Segal. Each has a unique style and impressive way of presenting the stories. I am indebted to them for introducing me to this world of writing, where I was inculcated to study various areas of knowledge before, they were included in the stories. For instance, to write the book ‘The Runaway Girl’, I had to study many areas I was not acquainted with, such as the growing teenage psychology, legal implications and the medical profession on mental health, etc.
