समझा जाता है कि इंसान अपने आस-पास के बाहरी और भीतरी दुनियाँ को अलग-अलग नज़रिये से देखते हैं और अलग-अलग तरिक़े से उसका इस्तेमाल भी करते चलते हैं। जिसमें दो बातें ख़ास हैं। एक, कि इंसान इस बाहरी-व-भीतरी दुनियाँ को ही हक़ीक़त मानकर उसे अपनी ही ख़िदमत के लिए ज़्यादा से ज़्यादा इस्तेमाल करने में जुटे रहते हैं। दुसरा, कि इंसान एक नज़रिया अख़्तियार कर लेते हैं कि हमारी दुनियाँ ख़ुदा की तरफ़ से एक नायाब तोहफ़ा भर है। लेकिन हक़ीक़त और ख़ास तो अपना ख़ुदा ही है।
दरअसल इंसान का मन ही सबकुछ है। हमारा मन जब वजूद में आता है तो एक कोरा कागज़ ही होता है। और कोरा कागज़ का होना भी अपना एक वजूद है। और वो अपनी वजूद की शान के लिए कुछ करता है। वो कभी मुहब्बत करता है, तो कभी ग़ुस्सा। कभी लालच करता है, तो कभी मोह। कभी घमण्ड़ करता है, तो कभी नफ़रत।
इस नाटक में ये बात कही गई है कि ये सभी सौगातें बुरी नहीं हैं। फ़र्क़ सिर्फ़ और सिर्फ़ नज़रिये की है। इंसान सही नज़रिया अपना लें और मज़े करें।
