He started his career in retailing with international brands like British Home Stores, Mothercare, Premaman, Next, Liz Claiborne, and J C Penney. Back at home he was a part of the team to set up the first Marks and Spencer store in India. He has also been exposed to brands like Pantaloons, Big Bazaar and Food Bazaar.

In India, having personally worked in the association of Mr. Kishore Biyani and Mr. Sadashiv Nayak the author’s knowledge in retailing grew in leaps and bounds. Drawing inspiration from these two great idols the author has trained more than five hundred students under him and has played a key role in successfully placing them, both in the national and international retail markets.
