I’m 24 years old. But she is still 15 years old for me. When I’ll grow 80 years old, she’ll be still the same 15 years old innocent soul for me. And if the blessings of my parents become true and I touch 100, she’ll be still that same 15 years old school girl for me. I hope, God give me the power to recognize her when we both meet in the heaven for some time.
I don’t call this as an incomplete love story. Because I have loved her through my heart and soul even without having her with me, I have prayed for her without having her in my life.
Now, very soon, it will be a decade since I last saw her. And sure, there are billions of beautiful people in this world - far more than just her. But there’s an old saying in Hindi: "दिल लगा चुड़ैल से तो परियाँ किस काम की ?" And yes, she have become just like the ghost in my life – I can never see her, but yet, I can feel her, in the emotional baggage that my heart is carrying. And that’s how exactly my heart feels – stuck on that same person, wrapped in sorrows. A sorrow born from the guilt of never confessing my feelings to her, face to face. But now, I have wrote something more precious than my life - I have written this book, these poems. They speak the words I never could. Yes, they are precious for me than anything in my life, because, these poems are the “Reflections of my Lost Moon”…
