Late Dhavala Venkata Surya Narayana Rao (Narayana Bhargava), was a second-generation Advocate and Visionary of his times. He was born in 1920 in Parvatipuram town of Andhra Pradesh, India. He was the son of D. Prakash Rao a leading advocate. He was graduated in law from ILS Pune and practised as an advocate for some time. He took up the post of Chief Legal Advisor in Inspector General of Coal Mines, Dhanbad in 1966.
He had good correspondence with J. B. S Halden, a well- know scientist in the areas of physiology, genetics, evolutionary biology, and mathematics. He had limited correspondence with Albert Einstein. He is a good friend of renowned Telugu writers and litterateurs Gudipati Venkata Chalam and Guntur Seshendra Sarma. He is a friend of Gangadhar Rao Andhra Pradesh High Court chief judge.
