This book describes in detail the daily Hukam Namas as per Rehat Maryada of SGPC from Sri Guru Granth Sahib pages 301 t0 1000. This book was originally published in English by Daljit Singh Jawa in 2016, who has published complete Translation of Sri Guru Granth Sahib (SGGS) in simple English so that all those Sikhs and seekers, who want to benefit from the divine words of Sikh Gurus, famous Hindu saints, like Bhagat Kabir Ji, and Nam Dev Ji, and Muslim mystics like Baba Farid Ji, but cannot easily read or understand Punjabi written in Gurmukhi script. This translation under the title "It Is The Same Light" is available at Amazon, Barnes, and Noble, XLibris, and other resellers. You can also read it at sikhnet.com, or www. gurbaniwisdom.com.
The Hindi translation was completed by Darshan Kaur Uppal, who completed all her schooling in Hindi Medium schools in U.P India. She spent many years in carefully doing the actual Hindi translation, and then minutely checking it for every detail in Punjabi text, Hindi transliteration, and Hindi Explanation of each and every Shabad.
Daljit Singh Jawa Ji has done an extensive amount of work to bring the message of Shri Guru Granth Sahib Ji to readers who do know Gurumuki.
He has written many books to provide readers with English concise and detailed explanations of Shri Guru Granth Sahib Ji. Jawa Ji's explanation has been translated to Hindi by Darshan Kaur Uppal.
I want to congratulate and thank both for completing this effort to spread the message of Guru Granth Sahib Ji.
This book 'Aaj Ka Adesh' is for readers who would prefer to read Hindi. Book has an index in alphabetical order that allows readers to quickly find 'Hukum' with starting words. It has Gurumuki text, Hindi text and detailed Hindi explanation for easy understanding and reference. At the end of each explanation, the book has a message/central idea in 2-3 lines.
I would strongly recommend this book for a Hindi reader who would have the desire to understand Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji's message.

Aaj ka Adesh
Friends I have known Shri Jawa since our days together at Engineering college from 1957-61. He had an inborn instinct and inclination to describe the edicts of Shri Guru Granth Sahab. He and his niece Shrimati Darshan Kaur have done a colossal job in presenting In Hindi script the portion relating to Order of the Day for the benefit of the seekers. My hearty congratulation to Shri Jawa and Shm. Darshan Kaur.
