Deep Sarkar, born on January 11, 2007, in the peaceful suburbs of Habra, located in the North 24 Parganas district of West Bengal, is a promising young literary voice of this generation. From an early age, deep displayed a profound love for writing and creative expression. Supported wholeheartedly by his parents, Sanjay Sarkar and Rekha Sarkar, he has steadily built a name for himself in the world of literature.

A student of Bio-Science at Kalyangarh Vidyamandir School (H.S.), Deep balances his academic pursuits with a deep commitment to literature. He completed his secondary education at Habra High School (H.S.), where his talent began to flourish. Despite the rigorous demands of his studies, his pen never paused.

In 2024–2025, his literary achievements took a significant leap as his works were featured at the prestigious International Book Fair in Kolkata through Chalavash. His debut book, published by Sjain Publication, received widespread appreciation and positioned him as an emerging voice to watch. His poetry and prose have been published in well-regarded magazines such as Saanjh Patrika, Varna Patrika (for English poetry), Sabuj Sahab Patrika, and his school’s magazine.

Deep’s journey has not been without struggle. He encountered limitations and challenges—particularly from the constraints imposed by “Guruchandali”—yet he remained undeterred. His resilience and dedication have only intensified his creative flame.
