After working in the mortgage industry for several years, I found myself drawn, almost unexpectedly, toward yoga. I was new to the practice and unsure of what to expect. But slowly, something began to shift. I noticed a quiet, noticeable difference in myself, something deeper than flexibility or fitness. It felt like a return to who I really was.
As my personal practice deepened, so did a quiet calling to teach. Two years ago, I made the bold decision to leave my corporate job and become a full-time yoga teacher.
What I didn’t anticipate was how deeply I would enjoy working with children. Especially when introducing them to the timeless wisdom of Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras. Their ability to grasp and reflect on complex emotions with such innocence and clarity truly amazed me. I realized I wanted to share more, but not through formal lectures or rigid instruction. I wanted to tell stories.
That desire led me to write this novella, a gentle, imaginative way to introduce young readers to the principles of yoga, unity, and self-awareness. Through story, my hope is to plant quiet seeds of consciousness in children’s hearts, nudging them toward a life of inner strength, non-violence, and harmony with the universe.
