Dikshya Samal is a poet, author & musician based in India. She journeys through life with a notebook, pen, and ukulele as her loyal companions – and always follows her heart’s compass.

To make ends meet, she started working as a content writer at the age of 18. At the same time, she also got a degree of B.A. in Journalism & Mass Communication.

Simultaneously, she explored her jest for poetry on Instagram, under the pen name of ‘A Woman In Black’ – which acquired over ten thousand followers in a short span of time.

This was until 2022 when she quit her 9 to 5 job to chase her lifelong dream of becoming a full-time poet & novelist.
