Dilbag has written hundreds of boliyan for giddha and malwai giddha since 2005. He written boliyan for his team's performance at college feastival in 2005. At very first performance, his boliyan were hugely appreciated in his college and by other cultural groups throughout Punjab. The love to his work is the well-established as many of his boliyan are part of malwai giddha performed by college cultural groups even till date.
