Dilip Phadke completed his M.D. in Pathology in 1984 and was engaged in private practice for the next thirteen years. He moved on from the medical practice in 1997 to pursue his varied interests in art, science, literature and financial markets. His first book, a collection of short stories titled 'An Incidental Liberal' was published in 2015.
