Every human being, regardless of where they are born or what they look like, deserves to live with dignity. Yet, throughout history and even today, many people face injustice, inequality, and discrimination. Human rights are the shield that protects individuals from oppression, and they are also the foundation on which a peaceful society is built.
As a young author, I felt the need to write this book not just as a collection of facts but as a message of hope. Too often, discussions about human rights are limited to classrooms, courtrooms, or international meetings. But in reality, human rights are for everyone—children in schools, workers in factories, families in villages, and individuals using the internet. They affect the way we live, think, and treat each other.
