About the Authors

Dr. Anupama Mishra
Dr. Anupama Mishra is a Professor and Head of the Department
of Textile & Apparel Designing at the College of Community
Science, Central Agricultural University, Imphal, Tura, Meghalaya.
She has over 18 years of experience in research, teaching, and
extension. She currently serves as the Vice President (East
Region) of the Home Science Association of India (HSAI).
Her research focuses on natural fibers, fiber blending, enzymatic
and antimicrobial finishes using herbal extracts, woven/nonwoven composites from
natural fibers, eco-friendly packaging materials, and the product diversification of ethnic
crafts through ICT applications. She has developed UG/PG curricula, organized
numerous academic events, published widely and received numerous awards, including
the Technology Innovation Award (2022), Young Scientist Awards (2018, 2009), and
Excellence in Teaching Award (2017).

Ms. Tanu Singh
Ms. Tanu Singh is currently working in ICDS, Philiphit, U.P., the
authoress of this manuscript was born on October 11 , 1990. She
completed her Master’s Degree in Textile and Apparel Designing
Department, Surajmal Agarwal Private Kanya Mahavidyalaya,
Kichha, Kumaoun University, Nainital Uttarakhand (India).
