The rapid advancement of pharmaceutical sciences has led to the development
of Novel Drug Delivery Systems (NDDS) aimed at improving the safety,
efficacy, and reliability of drug therapy. Conventional dosage forms often
suffer from limitations such as poor bioavailability, frequent dosing, systemic
side effects, and lack of site specificity. Novel drug delivery systems address
these challenges by modifying the rate, time, and place of drug release, thereby
enhancing therapeutic outcomes and patient compliance.
