This book starts with ocular symptoms, history taking and structure-by-structure clinical examination of anterior segment. The clinical terms are defined or explained in the chapters so that the student can easily understand them. For each chapter, a clinical anatomy and physiology is written. At the end of each chapter a format is given enumerating the clinical points to be examined.
This book is written accordance to the guidelines of National Medical Council(NMC) of India's competency based medical education(CBME) curriculum. In each clinical competencies, OSPE, OSCE, AETCOM and DOAP are taken care of in this book.
