Dr. Chiya Jaiswal is a gold medalist in Psychology (Honours) with an M.A. in Psychology and a PG Diploma in Guidance and Counselling. She has qualified UGC-NET JRF, SET, and GATE, and has been awarded a Ph.D. degree under the supervision of Prof. O.P. Sharma. She has published over fifteen research papers, authored some books, and contributed two chapters to edited volumes. Her research interests include positive psychology, mental health, well-being, and educational psychology. A passionate educator, she mentors UGC-NET aspirants, many of whom have qualified under her guidance. Through her YouTube channel, Study Psychology with Chiya, she provides free, accessible content, aiming to promote psychological literacy and support learners across India.
Prof. O. P. Sharma is a senior academician and research supervisor with decades of teaching and administrative experience in psychology. His guidance has shaped several PhD dissertations and postgraduate theses. His interests include personality assessment, educational psychology, and community mental health. A distinguished scholar in behavior genetics and health psychology, he holds first-class degrees in M.A., M.Phil., and Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology, along with a D.Litt. With over 30 years of academic service, he has mentored 100+ Ph.D. scholars and 14 M.Phil. students, authored 31 books, published 164 research papers, and presented at 82 national and international conferences. He has also served in key administrative roles, including Proctor, Rector, and Coordinator.
