Biochemistry and Physiology together form the fundamental basis for
understanding life processes at the molecular, cellular, and systemic levels. The
present book, Biochemistry and Physiology, has been developed strictly
according to the prescribed certificate-level syllabus in Zoology, with the
objective of providing students with a clear, systematic, and concept-based
understanding of biochemical and physiological principles.
Dr. Devbrat Mishra is a distinguished academician and researcher in Zoology, currently
serving in the Department of Zoology at T.D.P. College, Jaunpur. He has actively
contributed to teaching, research, and academic administration, and has served as a
Convenor in various academic and scholarly activities.
Dr. Mishra is a life member of several professional bodies across multiple
disciplines and has authored and contributed to numerous academic works. His areas of
interest include zoological sciences, environmental studies, and interdisciplinary
research.
Dr. Kunvar Dileep Pratap Singh is a senior academician and researcher in Zoology and
currently serves as Head of the Department of Zoology at Rashtriya Post Graduate
College, Jamuhai, Jaunpur, affiliated with Veer Bahadur Singh Purvanchal University.
His academic interests include Zoology, Fisheries Biology, Environmental
Biology, Biostatistics, and Computational Biology. He has published research papers in
reputed journals and is actively involved in teaching and research at the undergraduate
and postgraduate levels.
Prof. S. Z. Ali is a senior academician in the Department of Zoology at S.N.P.G. College,
Azamgarh. He also serves as the President (Adhyaksh) of the Teachers' Association and
is a life member of various academic and professional bodies across multiple disciplines.
With vast experience in teaching and academic leadership, Prof. Ali has made significant
contributions to higher education and scholarly activities.
Dr. Kavita Sharma is a distinguished academician and researcher in the field of Zoology,
currently serving in the Department of Zoology at Government Degree College, Agra
Cantt, Agra. She has extensive teaching experience at the undergraduate level and has
been actively involved in academic mentoring and curriculum development.
Dr. Sharma's academic interests include core areas of zoological sciences,
environmental biology, and related interdisciplinary studies. She has contributed to
seminars, workshops, and academic activities, and is committed to promoting scientific
temper and quality education among students. Her scholarly approach and dedication to
