Dr. Doniya Elze Mathew is a Biology researcher who believes in the power of gentle words and small encouragements. She is involved in studying the fascinating marine life and working on algae, but her greatest joy has always been inspiring young minds.
She wrote this book to encourage children to be brave, kind, and confident. Even when she is far away from her nieces, she wants them—and all kids—to know that they are loved and supported every day.
She believes every child has a bright light inside—and her biggest joy is helping them see it. Even though she lives far away, she hopes each page feels like a little hug, a reminder that her nieces, and all children, are strong, capable, and wonderfully unique.
When she is not writing, Doniya enjoys caring for plants, exploring nature, and spending time with her German Shepherds. She continues to dream, learn, and work on projects that help both people and the planet.
