Dr. Himanshu S.Raninga is an Asst.Professor in Economics at Smt.J.J.Kundalia Arts, Commerce & B.B.A. College, affiliated to Saurashtra University, Rajkot-Gujarat-India. He has done his Doctoral research work on Globalization & its Impact on Small Scale Industries in India. He is also engaging himself in spreading financial awareness under the mission handled by Securities & Exchange Board Of India. ( SEBI ).

He has social vision of development. He believes not simply in theories but in grassroots realities. According to him India's economic growth is checked by human factor, so state should invest in quality of population. The country must
raise the literacy levels as has been done in Korea & China.

He wants to restore an ethical dimension to the vital economic problems, as he was greatly impressed by Dr.Amartya Sen. He wants to see the change in the thinking process of Economics and wants to make a midway between socialist
planning and privatization
