About the Author

Dr. Jayant Awasthy is presently serving as Head of the Department of Civil Engineering in Acropolis Institute of Technology and Research, Indore. He has completed his Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from SRU Rajasthan, M.E. in Structural Engineering from UEC, Ujjain, and B.E. in Civil Engineering from SGSITS Indore. He has also completed Diploma in Civil Engineering from SVP Indore. With over 25 years of teaching and industry experience, he specializes in structural engineering, and has authored research papers, patents publications and conference papers in reputed National as well as International journals. He was awarded the Nation Builders Award 2020 from Rotary Club of Mumbai West Coast. He is also a Life Member of the Indian Geotechnical Society Indore Chapter.
