This book highlighted on how the workshop, innovative instruction, tree plantation, hands on activity, community sanitation, and multimedia impacted on environmental sustainability. Workshop a meeting at which a group of people engages and discusses the issues related to a project. Usually, workshop is a brief intensive program for a relatively small group of people who focuses especially on techniques and skills in a particular field. The recent book emphasized that workshop and how it has significant influence on environmental sustainability. Similarly, innovative instruction has formal role to teach environmental sustainability. Innovative instruction is the process of making changes to something established by introducing something new. It applies to radical or incremental changes to products, processes, or services. In the present study, innovative instruction on environmental sustainability was provided in the experimental classes to get achievement better over traditional classes. It is no doubt that tree plantation is the process of transplanting tree seedlings, generally for forestry, land reclamation, or landscaping purposes. The author and his co-researchers were planted the saplings both inside (in-campus) and outside (off-campus) of the University campus and realized their significant role on environmental sustainability. However, involving in active personal participation in an activity is hands-on activity. Composting, tree planting, reducing, reusing, and recycling waste materials activities were undertaken as the effort of environment sustainability. Similarly, community Sanitation activity was included in the research work; it literally means measures necessary for improving and protecting health and well-being of the whole community people. Community Sanitation is any system that promotes proper disposal of human and animal wastes, and proper use of toilet. A community-sanitation awareness programme was organized and different sanitation activities were undertaken as the effort of environment sustainability. The output of this programme is reported in this book. We know multimedia includes a combination of text, audio, still images, animation, video, or interactivity content forms. A forty minutes MP4 CD video on environmental awareness cum sustainability was displayed in front of the students and local people as the ways to change their life towards environmental sustainability. This book is a report of ICSSR sponsored major research project assessed the impact of workshop, innovative instruction, tree plantation, and hands on activity, community sanitation, and multimedia on environmental sustainability.
