The book "Introduction to Vedanta" by respected scientist K. Sadananda is a must-read for spiritually-inclined people who seek to understand the important Hindu Vedantan perspective of reality, which might be summarized as follows: Atman is Brahman and Brahman is All. It presents the key aspects of Vedanta in a down-to-earth format as if the author were speaking directly to you. He shares many examples from his own personal experience, and employs very useful analogies for understanding. A few of these are the rope-snake perceptional misidentification, and the yearning for the physical pleasure of coffee drinking. The most important analogy for me was that between gold and gold jewelry, which shows that the spiritual essence of God is present in all of God's creations. I very much enjoyed reading this book and learned much from it. Anyone seeking to comprehend reality will greatly benefit from this book.
