About the Author

Dr. Neelam Bhardwaj, MBBS, MD, DRH, PGDHHM, is a distinguished medical doctor and global public health expert with over 30 years of experience in reproductive, maternal, newborn, child, and adolescent health (RMNCAH). She has held senior leadership and technical positions with leading organizations including UNICEF, UNFPA, PATH India, and the International Rescue Committee, contributing her expertise across diverse contexts such as Sierra Leone, Indonesia, Sudan, Uganda, Malawi, and India. Currently based in New York, Dr. Bhardwaj works globally with young people, advancing health and development initiatives through evidence-based, rights-focused, and youth-centered and culturally sensitive approaches.
