Dr Rajeswari Chellaiah has a Ph.D. on translation studies and has published numerous thesis and papers on translation. In Vetri Thirumagan, she explores the life and times of MGR aka MG Ramachandran who had remained an enigma with his crowd-pulling charisma that made him the numero uno actor and Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu (twice) till his death in the year 1987. Vetri Thirumagan is an exploration and analysis of both the on screen and off screen events and anecdotes of MG Ramachandran.
