Dr. Ranjeet Singh Sandhu
Dr. Ranjeet Singh Sandhu is a distinguished Physical Educationist and cricket coach, serving as Assistant Professor at Hindu College, Amritsar. He holds a Ph.D. in Physical Education, NET (UGC), M.P.Ed., and a PG Diploma in Sports Coaching (Cricket).Dr. Sandhu completed ICC Level 1 Cricket Coaching in Dubai (2021).He has over 10 years of teaching and 3 years of research experience. His research is published in reputed national and international journals. He has authored books such as “Cricket: Step to Success – The Complete Guide to the Game of Cricket” (2017), and “Bowler’s Edge : Advanced Training and Drills for Cricket Excellence” (2024). Dr. Sandhu received the INSC Research Excellence Award in 2024 for his contributions to sports education. he holds a registered patent for a “Multidirectional Training Device”. Since 2011, he has been Chief Coach of GNDU’s Men’s and Women’s Cricket Teams. He led GNDU to multiple inter-university and national cricket titles. In 2016-17, he coached Rupali Bank Women’s Cricket Team to league victory in Dhaka. Throughout his career, Dr. Sandhu has remained committed to academic excellence, research innovation, and the holistic development of sports education and training.

Dr. Baljinder Singh Bal’s life path can best be viewed as a distinctive kind of fusion of an academician and sportsperson par excel¬lence. Dr. Bal is an educationist. In the world of physical education in India, he is the leading physical educationist who attained (RA) Research Award by UGC - statutory body of the Government of India. He is working as Associate Professor in the Depart¬ment of Physical Education at Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar. Dr. Bal successfully completed his Bachelors of Physical Education, Masters of Physical Education and Masters of Philosop-hy from Lakshmibai National Univer¬sity of Physical Education, Gwalior. He obtained his Ph.D. from Panjab University, Chandigarh under the esteemed supervision of late. Prof. Ajmer Singh (Olympian) former Vice-Chancellor of Lakshmibai National University of Physical Education, Gwalior. Dr. Bal is the recipient of M.R.P (Minor, Major and RA) Research Project from U.G.C. (University Grants Commission) New Delhi.
