In the eighth chapter, Rosy Tigga described the challenges and opportunities of Online Learning during Covid-19 Pandemic. In the ninth chapter, Fatima Lawan Zubair & Dr. Akanksha Srivastava discussed the role of video-based learning as an emerging trend in online education. In the tenth chapter, Sandipan Babasaheb Jige described Massive Open Online Courses in the world as a new platform in modern education. In the eleventh chapter, Dr. Alka Gaur described the role of e-learning in empowering education during Covid-19 pandemic. In the twelfth and last chapter of the book, Jagriti described the perception of students for online learning during the Covid-19 breakdown in her empirical study. Deliberate efforts are made by authors to make this book a good reference material for new and existing online teachers, learners and e-content developers at all levels to ensure a quality online education where students are motivated for lifelong learning.

About the Authors

Dr. Sanjay Kumar is working with Saraswati College of Professional Studies
Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, India. He is a postgraduate in Education
Management, Commerce and Marketing Management. He is also UGC-NET
qualified in Education, Commerce, and Management. He has a doctorate degree
in Business and Management from JNU, Jaipur. He possesses more than 20
years of rich experience in academics, administration, research, accreditation,
and online education. He has contributed more than 10 research papers in UGC
notified national and international journals. He has successfully conducted more
than 30 online workshops on Digital skills for Teachers during 2020-21 and
2021-22. He has presented more than 5 papers at National Conferences on the
topics-digital skills, virtual classrooms, digital citizenship, and digital safety for
teachers. He has developed an online 30 hours “Certified Digital Teacher Course”
for all levels of teachers. He has also developed one week online self-learning
course on Google Site for teachers. He has completed a marketing research and
analysis course from IIT Roorkee under NPTEL in 2017. He was a gold medalist
with 93% marks. He has been awarded three times for his contribution to
Education and Society. He is a chief editor of a National Journal-Edulink, Joint
Secretary of U.P Chapter, Council for Teacher Education Foundation, India, and
Program Director of Social Development and Research Foundation (SDRF).

Prof. Suresh Chandra Pachauri is working with College of Education, Shri Guru
Ram Rai University, Dehradun, Uttarakhand, India. He is a postgraduate in
Economics, Sociology and Hindi. He is also a postgraduate in Education (M.Ed)
from Regional Institute of Education, Ajmer, Rajasthan.He has doctorate degree
in Education from Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University, Agra.He is a chief editor of two
Journals- an International Journal of Education and Allied Sciences and
Education Vision - A Journal of Education .He has written 8 books and
published more than 45 research papers and articles in National and
International Journals . He has presented more than 35 papers in various
national and international seminars, workshops and conferences in India.
Presently he is secretary of Council for Teacher Education
Foundation-Uttarakhand Chapter.He has Supervised more than 45 M.Ed.
dissertations and 8 Ph.D scholars.
